Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence is common (you are not alone) and we offer both medical and surgical options to treat this distressing problem. Your GP will refer you to see either Mr T Dorkin or Mr J Barclay to undergo an initial assessment and to discuss treatment options. Alternatively, you may receive an appointment for the nurse-led clinic to receive further information and education on specific treatments including injections and vacuum devices. You will be supported in your treatment decisions in a caring and professional manner.
If the non-surgical options are not suitable, we can discuss insertion of a penile prosthesis (penile implant) to restore erections.
In addition, we see men with all types of penile problems including penile curvature (Peyronies disease). Several treatment options are available and these will be discussed with you when you are seen in the clinic.
We absolutely recognise that urological conditions can be sensitive and very distressing. Our staff are committed to ensuring every patient is treated with the utmost dignity and sensitivity, as well as providing you with the highest quality of care in a safe and comfortable environment.
The Clinical Lead for this service is Mr T J Dorkin
